12) Can the robot climb the slope? And what’s the slope angle?

Yes, it can climb the slope, but suggest climb slope less than 9 degrees in remote control mode, and 6 degrees in automatic cleaning mode.

13) What garbage can the robot clean?

It can clean small particles garbage, like dust, beverage, water stain, melon seeds fragments, little rice grain etc.

14) Can the cleanity be guaranteed when the robot operate in a rather dirty floor?

The cleanity could be adjusted by different cleaning modes, for example, we could use the strong mode to run for several times at first, then switch to standard mode to do routine cyclic cleaning.

15) How about the robot cleaning efficiency?

The cleaning efficiency is related with environment, standard cleaning efficiency ups to 500m²/h in empty square environment.

16) Is the robot support self water refilling and discharging?

The function is not available in current version, but has been put in development.

17) Can the robot achieve automatic power charging?

It can do self power charging with a docking pile equipped.

18) In what battery state will the robot automatically back to docking pile for recharging?

The default set is that when the battery power is lower than 20%, the robot would automatically reverse for recharging. Users could reset the power threshold based on self preference.

19) What’s the noise level when the robots operate cleaning?

In scrubbing mode, the minimum noise would be no more than 70db.

20) Will the roller brush damage the floor?

The roller brush material is strictly selected and would not damage the floor. If user has requirements, it could be changed to scouring cloth.

21) The robot can detect obstacles in what distance?

2D solution support 25m obstacle detection, and 3D far to 50m. (The robot general obstacle avoidance is 1.5m distance, while for low-short obstacles, the obstacle distance would range from 5-40cm. The obstacle avoidance distance is related with the speed, so data only used for reference.

22) Can the robot normally identify glass doors, acrylic panels such kind of items?

The robot has multi sensor around the body, which enable it to detect and smartly avoid high transmissive and reflective glasses, stainless steal, mirror etc.

23) What’s the robot accepted obstacles avoidance height? Can it prevent dropping?

The robot could effectively avoid obstacles that higher than 4cm, and it has anti-dropping function, enabling to avoid the floor that lower than 5cm.

24) What’s the advantage of Intelligence Ally robots compared with competitors?

Allybot-C2 has great practicability, it is the first modular commercial cleaning robot to achieve mass production, with each parts open mould separately, the cost of parts in mass production got largely shorten; Its water tank, sewage tank and battery design are detachable, which simple users maintenance and convenient for after-sales. It has been deployed in more than 40+ countries around the world, and product quality is proved to be quite stable.

Gausium S1 and PUDU CC1 haven’t been put into mass production yet, few cases for check, the product quality is not stable; PUDU CC1 has a nice design, but its navigation to avoid obstacles performance is poor, production and maintenance cost is high.

Ecovacs TRANSE is a magnified home using sweeping robot, and is not intelligent enough to use in large and complex commercial scenarios.

3. Malfunction Solutions

1) How to judge the robot has malfunctions?

The basic way to judge is from the light belt color. When the light belt shows red, it means the robot is malfunction, or when the robot occurs any unplanned behaviors, like sewage tank not installed, positioning failure and water tank empty etc, all is the symbol of robot malfunctions.

2) What to do when the robot reminding clean water too low, and sewage water too much?

Users should refilling the water, discharge the sewage water and clean the tank.

3) Does the robot has emergency stop function?

The robot has emergency stop function, which has passed the 3C authentication.

4) Can the robot get a new remote control if the equipped one lost?

Yes, there is a button used for matching the robot with the remote control, which support a quick match.

5) What makes the robots docking not succeed for several times?

Robot reversion and docking failure may be considered that the return map is inconsistent with the cleaning map, or the docking pile being moved with no timely updates. In this situation, users could use the remote control to guide the robot back to the docking pile, detailed reason analyse and optimize could be done by the professionals.

6) Will the robot lose control?

The robot has self navigation function, it can automatically avoid obstacles. In special situation, users could press the emergency stop button to stop it by force.

7) Can the robot be manually pushed walk?

Users can manually push the robot move forward after the power shut down.

8) The robot screen shows on the charger, but the power does not increased.

Users can check the screen firstly to see if there has an abnormal charge warning, then check the button beside the battery, whether be pressed down or not, if no, the power would not increase.

9) The robot power shows abnormal when it is on the charging, and cannot carry the cleaning tasks.

It may because that the machine was docked on the pile without turning on the power. In this situation, the robot is in abnormal state, and cannot doing any operates, to solve this, users can just reboot the machine.

10) The robot appears to avoid sometimes with no obstacles in front.

Suppose it is because that the structural light camera mistakenly triggered the avoidance, to solve it we can re-calibrate the parameter.

11) The robot does not start automatic cleaning when the preset task is time.

In this situation, users need check if set the correct time, whether task is activated, whether the power is sufficient, and whether the power is turned on.

12) What to do if the robot cannot automatically back to the docking pile?

Check if the power is connected, and ensure that there are no obstacles within a range of 1.5m in front of the docking pile and 0.5m on both sides.

4. Robot Maintenance

1) Can users wash outside of the robot with water?

The whole machine cannot be cleaned directly with water, but structural parts such as sewage tanks and water tanks can be cleaned directly with water, and disinfectant or detergent can be added. If you clean the whole machine, you can use a waterless cloth to wipe.

2) Can the robot operation interface logo be changed?

The system supports some sets, but needs confirm with the project manager and sales.

3) When to change the cleaning consumables, like mopping cloth, HEPA,filter bag and roller brush?

Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to change the mopping cloth every two days. But if the environment is too dusty, suggesting to change everyday. Note to dryer the cloth before using. For HEPA, it is suggested to change a new one every three months. And for filter bag, suggesting to change once a month, and note the filter bag needs to be cleaned frequently. For roller brush, users could decide when to replace based on the specific situation.

4) Can the robot dock on the charging pile all the time if no tasks to carry? Would that harm the battery?

The battery is made with lithium iron phosphate, short time within 3 days docking on the charging pile would do no harm to the battery, but if needs to dock for a long time, suggested to turn down, and do regular maintenance.

5) Will the dust enter into the machine if robot operates in a dusty floor? If has dust inside the body, will it cause main board burnt?

The robot design is dust proofing, so no main board burning would happen, but if working in a dusty environment, it’s suggested to do regular cleaning to the sensor and body.

5. APP Using

1) How to download the matched APP?

Users could download in the app store directly.

2) How to add the robot into the app?

Each robot has an administrator account, users can contact the administrator for adding.

3) Remote control the robot has delay situations.

Remote control can be affected by the network status, if finds the remote control has delays, it’s suggested to change a remote control. If remote control is necessary, users need to use it within security distance 4m.

4) How to switch robots in APP if has more robots connected?

Click the robot interface “equipment”, just click the robot you want to operate to realize switching.

5) How far can the remote control still working?

There are two kinds of remote control:physical remote control and APP remote control. The largest physical remote control distance longs to 80m in no blocking environments, while APP remote has no distance limits, you can use it as long as has a network. But both ways need to operate under the safety premis, and it’s not suggested using APP control when the machine is out of sight.

6) How to do if the robot actual location is not aligned with that showed on the App map?

Move the robot back to the docking pile, reset a cleaning task.

7) Can the docking pile be moved after the robot cleaning task is set?

Users can move the docking pile, but suggested not. Because the robot initialization is based on the position of the docking pile, so if charging pile got moved, it may lead to the robot positioning failure or positioning error. If indeed needs to move, it is recommended to contact the management to operate.
